Ketan Agarwal Murder: New Shocking Revelations

In a major development in the Ketan Agarwal murder case, Pune police have revealed that his fiancée Siya Goyal kept the victim’s mobile phone with her for some time after allegedly pushing him off the cliff at Lohagad Fort.

According to police sources, the phone came into Siya Goyal’s possession after the incident on June 18, 2026, before she eventually handed it over to Ketan’s family.

Police Investigating Possible Evidence Tampering

Investigators are now examining whether Siya Goyal deleted or tampered with any crucial evidence from the phone while it was in her possession. This revelation came during the police’s request for extension of custody of the accused.

Details of the Murder Case

Ketan Agarwal, a Pune-based realtor, was allegedly pushed to his death from Lohagad Fort by his fiancée Siya Goyal (20) and her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary (22) on June 18. The couple was scheduled to get married in November 2026.

Both Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary were arrested soon after the incident and are currently in police custody till July 3.

Crime Scene Recreation Conducted

On July 1, Pune Rural Police recreated the crime scene with co-accused Chetan Chaudhary at Lohagad Fort. Earlier, a similar reconstruction was done with Siya Goyal on June 28, where a dummy was used to demonstrate the act.

Background of the Case

According to Ketan Agarwal’s father Vishal Agarwal, his son had repeatedly expressed concerns about Siya’s closeness to Chetan Chaudhary. Police also revealed that Siya had earlier sabotaged the couple’s planned pre-wedding trip to Bali.

The case has shaken Pune and continues to be one of the most talked-about crimes in Maharashtra. Police are investigating all angles, including conspiracy, motive, and possible destruction of digital evidence.
