The investigation into the murder of Ketan Agarwal has taken a new turn as Lonavala Police suspect that more individuals may have been involved in the alleged conspiracy. While Siya Goyal and her boyfriend, Chetan Chaudhary, have already been arrested, investigators are now focusing on whether a third person played a role in planning or executing the crime.

Police Investigating Possible Third Conspirator

According to investigators, the remaining two days of police custody will be used to question Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary about the possible involvement of additional individuals. Although police have not officially named any new suspects, they believe the conspiracy may have extended beyond the two accused.

Statements of Family Members Recorded

As part of the ongoing investigation, police have recorded statements from several people connected to the case. These include Siya Goyal's brother Sahil Goyal, her father Praveen Goyal, and her mother Pooja Goyal. The entire Goyal family has been questioned in an effort to reconstruct the sequence of events leading up to the murder.

Marriage Mediators and Witnesses Questioned

Investigators have also questioned the Mittal couple, who reportedly acted as mediators in arranging the marriage between Siya Goyal and Ketan Agarwal. Their statements were recorded over two days as police attempted to gather additional information about the relationship between the couple before the incident.

In addition, the cab driver who transported Siya Goyal and Ketan Agarwal to Mumbai Airport for their planned pre-wedding trip to Bali has provided a statement to help investigators establish a detailed timeline.

Court Informed About Wider Investigation

During the remand proceedings before the Vadgaon Court, police informed the court that they needed additional custody of the accused to investigate whether anyone else participated in the alleged conspiracy. However, investigators have not disclosed any evidence pointing to a specific individual.

Investigation Continues

The identity of any possible third conspirator remains unknown, and Lonavala Police have not officially confirmed whether another arrest is likely. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, and all possible angles are being examined before reaching any conclusions.
