Yash Returns with Toxic After KGF Chapter 2

Kannada superstar Yash is all set to make a grand comeback with his most ambitious project yet — Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. The official trailer of the film was launched in Bengaluru, generating massive excitement among fans worldwide.

After multiple delays, Toxic is now confirmed for a worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026. The film marks Yash’s first big-screen appearance in nearly four years since the blockbuster success of KGF Chapter 2.

Yash’s Dual Role & Star Cast

In Toxic, Yash plays a dual role as a father and son in a dark gangster drama filled with revenge, power, and complex relationships. The star cast includes Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, and Rukmini Vasanth. Kiara Advani makes her Kannada debut with this film.

Director & Production

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film has been produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. The team shot the film for nearly 200 days across multiple locations including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Goa, and Jaipur.

Toxic is being positioned as one of the most expensive and ambitious Indian films of recent times. Shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, it will also release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
