Nothing has officially introduced the Nothing Phone (4b), expanding its mid-range smartphone lineup with a device that balances premium design, long battery life, and a clean Android experience. Positioned between the Phone (4a) and Phone (3a) Lite, the new smartphone features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, a 120Hz OLED display, and Nothing's signature Glyph Bar interface.

Nothing Phone (4b) Specifications

The smartphone sports a 6.77-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, and Dragontrail Pro Glass protection. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.

For photography, the Phone (4b) includes a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 16MP front-facing camera. The main sensor supports 4K video recording at 30fps.

Battery and Charging

The global variant packs a 5,200mAh battery, while the Indian model receives a larger 6,000mAh battery. Both versions support 33W wired charging and 7.5W reverse charging, with Nothing claiming up to 22 hours of video streaming on a full charge.

Software and Features

The device ships with Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16. Nothing has promised three years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. Additional features include stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC in supported regions, and the company's signature Glyph Bar featuring four white LEDs and one red notification LED.

The smartphone is available in White, Black, and Blue colour options. Sales begin through Flipkart in India, while pre-orders are available in several global markets.

Limited RCB Edition Sells Out Quickly

Nothing also introduced a special Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) Edition on July 7, 2026. The limited-edition model, featuring a red-and-silver design with exclusive RCB-themed accessories, sold out within two hours of launch in Bengaluru.

Shortly after the launch, several units appeared on resale platforms at significantly higher prices. Responding to the situation, Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis said the company would look at ways to reduce such incidents in future limited-edition releases.

Market Competition

While the Nothing Phone (4b) continues the company's distinctive transparent-inspired design language and software experience, it enters a highly competitive mid-range segment where several rivals offer larger batteries, faster charging speeds, and more powerful processors at similar price points.

Final Thoughts

The Nothing Phone (4b) focuses on delivering a refined Android experience, premium aesthetics, dependable battery life, and the unique Glyph interface. The limited RCB Edition demonstrates strong demand among fans while highlighting the challenges associated with exclusive product launches.
